Small Groups:   Upcoming Events

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

Small Group purpose is: "To build a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ towards Christ-like maturity."

What is a Small Group?
A Small Group is an intentional gathering of three to ten individuals who meet regularly, under the direction of a designated leader, to help the members of the group grow and mature in their faith while developing authentic Biblical friendships.

What do you do in a Small Group?
Each Small Group is unique. Most small groups include a time for growing friendships, intentional prayer, studying God's Word, and reaching out to others with a mission's mindset.

What do Small Groups study?
Every Small Group studies the Word of God, but the approach may differ from group to group.  Some use study materials (book, workbook, etc.); a question/answer format; shared insights; etc.,. The materials are designed for provoking thought, promoting discussion and encouraging personal understanding and application of scriptural principles. Occasionally, we will have a church-wide study that the groups are encouraged to use. All study materials used by small groups are reviewed prior to use and approved by < Insert Title Here> for content and adherence to church doctrinal beliefs.

Where do Small Groups meet?
Most Small Groups meet in homes where the setting is a more comfortable, family atmosphere to foster relationship-building and encourage support among the group.
