PASTORS’ PRAYER PARTNERS - This is a behind-the-scene and vital ministry involving prayer for your pastors, your elders, your governing board, your Sunday School teachers, your ministry coordinators, your programs, your secretary, your services, the congregation, your church, and for God’s Will to intervene and protect and bless in all of these areas. Two people pray together on an assigned Sunday morning once per month while services are taking place. Prayer partners are scheduled for either the 8:00 am or 10:30 am service. The prayers follow a simple format designed by Dr. John Maxwell.
LIBRARY - This team is responsible for maintaining the church library and all books, tapes, and videos donated to the church.
DECORATIONS - This group is responsible for making our church facility look attractive. They provide flowers or plants and decorate for special holidays or events. New members are always welcome in this group.
NEWSLETTER - This committee is responsible for putting together the GAC newsletter - News from the Pews. They take information received about church activities, events, and church families and organize it into a fun and informative publication. Information is received from ministry leaders and church families.
BIRTHDAY CARD MINISTRY - Birthday cards are mailed out to regular attendees of GAC. If you desire to have a card mailed to you, please contact the church office or fill out (and return to the office) the information sheet located at the information display located beside the Welcome Center desk.
PRAYER CHAIN - If you have a prayer need that you would like people to pray for, call the church office during office hours (M-F, 8:00-4:30) at 724-588-7167.
