MISSIONS COMMITTEE - This ministry is the framework of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and is our doctrinal-emphasis on the worldwide sending and support of our educated, trained, and anointed missionaries. They oversee and plan for any Missions Conferences, assist with visiting missionaries, and throughout the year inform the congregation about CMA World-Wide Missions.
SAMARITAN’S PURSE - Over the past several years we have participated in Operation Christmas Child and other relief efforts organized by Samaritan’s Purse. The shoebox ministry meets spiritual needs and gives blessings in packages to children around the world. GAC has served as an area collection sight.
ALLIANCE MEN’S MINISTRY - This ministry draws on the need for men of all ages to develop Godly friendships with other men, with Christ as the Center of their lives, their relationships, and their families. They develop, plan, and take part in occasional programs with - spiritual, educational, and recreational content. Men’s breakfasts, golf trips or other sporting events and seminar or conference trips are scheduled periodically.
OUTREACH COMMITTEE - This ministry, through various fun and practical programs, reaches out and into the community streets, and surrounding areas, to allow all ages to come in contact with the love of Jesus, the truth of Jesus, and the freedom and victory that Jesus offers. This committee is responsible for scheduling community events to spread God’s love to those who don’t yet know Christ. They will also serve as a resource for other ministry areas to help them develop ideas to reach the lost through their specific ministry.
GAC BODY BUILDERS (Men’s Service Project Group) - A group who is willing to be called upon to do “service project” type tasks on an occasional basis.
FELLOWSHIP
Social events include our Sunday summer picnics and Easter breakfast. Fellowship occurs through many other activities and events in small groups and relationships.
GREETERS - This very important ministry seeks to make everyone (visitors and regular attendees) feel welcome as they enter the doors of Greenville Alliance Church on Sundays. We are especially conscious of our friends who are worshipping with us for the first time. Greeters can also offer direction to different areas and programs in the church.
